I've tried it once but I'm not much into grinding by killing 1k mobs for a lvl.

I heard of this game, never played it but it seems also nice: http://www.runesofmagic.com/en/content,9,knight.html

Although the same problem alot of mob grinding,

Try these:

Counter-Strike (you have to pay once for it, around 10-15 euros)
Archlord (1k mobs kill till lvl -.-)
Aion (not out yet in europe, BUT it'll be worth playing)
Infinity online (it's fun, but if you don't like the PvE in it, stop playing it)

Warcraft III The Frozen Throne - DOTA map!!!!!!!!!! its epic Razz

Frets on Fire - Guitar Hero for pc on your keyboard using F1-F5 & Enter lots of fun
Fallout 3 - very good game with alot of possibilities and nice graphics but i got bored of it

and except for exteel i dont game alot anymore.. dont have time for it Real life is better

I just tried out Ace Combat Online the past couple days it is kinda fun but a lot of grinding I'm almost level 40 now and hit a brick wall gaining experience I probably need to join a brigade and fill up my friends list for XP bonsuses.
I can almost kill people now and am not getting one shotted anymore. Took a while to find people that will actually answer some questions but pvp is a total no-no until your above level 40 I really want war points though they got a nice looking veil for my B-gear.
Anyone else played this game? I'm with the BCU on Artemis server (and soon going to anihilate those ANI scum).
