no, because u never specified what the bird landed on, for all we know the bird could have landed on a mountain next to the bridge.

ok, well then my guess is that the bridge does collapse since the bridge can only hold the lorry's weight, but since the bird landed on it, the lorry+bird's weight causes the bridge to collapse. alien

The bridge collapsed, would of without the bird. It could only hold the weight of the lorry but not the driver or other people on the bus.

Good guess goblin, it does make very much sense but unfortunately not good Very Happy

There's a driver in it otherwise it wouldn't have driven half way. Anyway i'll tell the reason why it does collapse, ehm the lorry reaches halfway and that bird lands on it. It doesn't affect cause when a lorry drives, it can only drive with petrol. So it compensates, the reduction of petrol with the bird.
